A new generation of IRISNext is here.

With the release of IRISNext 11.0, IRISNext takes an important step forward in its cloud evolution. This new Short-Term Service (STS) release introduces a modernized architecture, cloud-friendly deployment capabilities, enhanced monitoring and a renewed enterprise technology stack. At the heart of this evolution is IRISNext Cloud, enabling organizations to benefit from the capabilities of IRISNext through a modern cloud environment while maintaining the familiar IRISNext functional experience.

Built for modern cloud environments

Organizations are increasingly looking to modernize their infrastructure while reducing the complexity associated with managing enterprise applications.

IRISNext 11.0 provides the technological foundation to support this evolution. The release introduces a Spring Boot architecture for the main service, enhanced monitoring and observability, and a simplified deployment model designed for modern cloud environments.

Support for Kubernetes environments provides a foundation for scalable and resilient deployments, while the new BatchPusher service supports document import scenarios in cloud environments.

Modern technology. Stronger foundations.

IRISNext 11.0 also introduces a significant modernization of the underlying technology stack.

The release incorporates Java 25, Spring Boot 4.1, Spring Framework 7, Tomcat 11, Lucene 10, Jackson 3, Groovy 5, Gradle 9, .NET 10, Debian 13 and iDRS 16.

By keeping the platform aligned with modern enterprise technologies, IRISNext is building a stronger technical foundation for future scalability, flexibility, cloud adoption and continuous platform innovation.

The IRISNext experience, now in the cloud

Moving to the cloud should not mean compromising on the capabilities organizations rely on.

IRISNext 11.0 delivers the same functional experience across Cloud and On-Premise environments, giving organizations greater flexibility in how they deploy and operate the platform.
IRISNext Cloud combines this new infrastructure foundation with the broader capabilities of IRISNext for managing information, documents and business processes.

STS or LTS: choosing the right release
IRISNext 11.0 is a Short-Term Service (STS) release and is particularly relevant for customers looking to adopt the latest cloud-oriented capabilities or deploy IRISNext within modern cloud infrastructure.

For organizations that do not currently require these capabilities and prioritize long-term release stability, IRISNext 10.2 remains the current Long-Term Service (LTS) release, with support until January 2031.

This approach gives organizations the flexibility to choose the release path that best matches their technology strategy and infrastructure requirements.

Building the foundation for what comes next

IRISNext 11.0 is more than a technology-stack update. It establishes the technical foundation for the next generation of the platform, preparing IRISNext for greater scalability, flexibility, operational efficiency and cloud adoption.

With IRISNext Cloud, organizations now have another way to bring secure information management and process automation into a modern infrastructure environment—while continuing to benefit from the IRISNext platform they know.
