As part of our “Partner in the Spotlight” series, we give the floor to our partners who use and bring IRISNext to life in the field. Today, it’s the turn of WESTPOLE, a key player in the Luxembourg IT landscape, to share their experience.

Formerly known as IRIS IMS Luxembourg, the WESTPOLE team has undergone several major strategic evolutions. In 2023, the Belux branch was integrated into the Prodware group, an ald sepcialist in application modernization. Part of this group, the WESTPOLE group has become a European point of reference in IT market for Digital Transformation – strengthening its strategy through a complete IT service portfolio and a 360° customer-centric vision.

The company delivers end-to-end IT services with a strong focus on infrastructure, application modernisation, and document and process management. Their approach is deeply client-centric: from hardware and licensing to business applications, cloud, compliance, and automation, they support organisations across every layer of the IT value chain.

Thanks to their integration within the Prodware group, WESTPOLE now leverages a broader range of expertise and resources, helping them scale and diversify their offering across Luxembourg and Belgium. IRISNext continues to play a key role in this service ecosystem.

Among the most emblematic projects powered by IRISNext is WESTPOLE’s long-standing collaboration with the Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL). Since 2018, they have supported CFL’s transition to a fully digital document and process environment.

This large-scale public sector project quickly grew to involve over 500 internal users and brought tangible benefits:

• Significant reduction in paper usage
• Implementation of customised digital workflows
• Deployment of an electronic archiving service (SAE)
• A pilot project to interconnect with the National Archives of Luxembourg

The strength of IRISNext in this context? Its interoperability. CFL operates with a highly complex IT environment, composed of numerous applications and data sources. IRISNext stood out by integrating seamlessly into that ecosystem, where other solutions struggled to adapt.
